Adopt resolution ratifying County Health Officer's declaration of a local health emergency on September 11, 2020.

Reason for Recommended Action/Background

In response to potential threats to public health associated with recent fires in and near Yolo County, the County Health Officer declared a local health emergency on September 11, 2020. A copy of the declaration is included as Exhibit A hereto. Under state law, the Board is required to ratify the Health Officer's declaration within seven days. The resolution included as Attachment A to this item provides the necessary ratification.
