| Reason for Recommended Action/Background |
This Amendment releases the remaining balance of the full appropriation for Fiscal Year 2020-21 consisting of additional funds due to an increase in the State’s Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) award and discretionary funds. These funds will be used to assist the County in fulfilling its obligation to address and operate community-based programs designed to reduce poverty, revitalize low-income communities, and empower low-income families and individuals within Yolo County’s service area to achieve greater self-sufficiency by implementing priorities identified in the County’s Community Services Block Grant - Community Action Plan.
CSBG Agreement 20F-3052, including this Amendment, provides the County with $335,665 in revenue for the period of January 1, 2020 through May 31, 2021 to implement the County’s CSBG - Community Action Plan and respond to the COVID-19 pandemic. |
