Reason for Recommended Action/Background |
The Adolescent and Youth Treatment Program (ATP) program provides individual and group therapy to youth through the age of 18. These youth need programs that address their developmental issues, provide comprehensive and integrated services, and involve families, while allowing them to remain in the most appropriate but least restrictive setting possible to enhance their overall potential success in the community.
Yolo County Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) continuously works with local community-based organizations to develop a continuum of care that provides treatment options to children and their families in the community that will deliver support services in the least restrictive environment.
Performance Measures included in this Agreement are as follows:
Performance Measures are currently being reviewed by Program and are to be established in all new contracts in fiscal year 2018-19. |
Collaborations (including Board advisory groups and external partner agencies) |
County Counsel has approved this Amendment as to form |
Competitive Bid Process |
HHSA released a Request for Proposals (RFP) on April 2, 2018 for Child, Youth and Family Outpatient Mental Health Services, and is currently in the process of developing contracts with the selected providers. The RFP included the Youth Treatment Program services being extended in the amendment associated with this staff report.
This short-term extension of Youth Treatment Program services for the period from July 1, 2018 through August 31, 2018 is needed to ensure that these critical services continue while the contracting process with CommuniCare Health Centers is completed.
HHSA plans to present the new contract with CommuniCare Health Centers to the Board in October 2018. |
