| Reason for Recommended Action/Background |
The Esparto Community Services District (ECSD) has traditionally provided drainage maintenance services on behalf of the Madison Esparto Regional County Service Area (MERCSA) and ECSD was reimbursed by MERCSA for their costs. With the dissolution of MERCSA on June 30, 2017, there is a lack of remaining available resources to reimburse the ECSD for services rendered. Providing a one-time distribution of funds to ECSD will clear the outstanding liability and allow them to be in a positive fiscal position moving forward.
Staff recommends approval of the attached budget resolution transferring $24,456 to the County Administrator's budget in order to pay the ECSD for outstanding invoices. |
