Accept Parcel Map No. 5096 to create one parcel of approximately 141 acres ("Parcel 1"), and leave a remainder (not surveyed) of approximately 977 acres, from an existing 1,118-acre agriculturally-zoned farming property in order to facilitate the sale of Parcel 1 to a party with an interest in planting tree crops (walnuts). The property is located east of County Road (CR) 104 (Mace Boulevard), south of the City of Davis, and borders the northern edge of the south fork of Putah Creek.   • Total of 20 events (including 4 large events for 150-300 people) per calendar year;
  • Adoption of supplemental CEQA findings and direction to staff to revise the conditions of approval and findings to reflect the Board's actions;
  • Addition of a condition of approval requiring shuttles for all events;
  • Adoption of blackout period (July 15-September 15) as proposed by counsel for the applicant in a September 12, 2016 letter, along with language that states "if any event is scheduled in the blackout period the applicant has to obtain and maintain written consent notices from affected agricultural operators in County Road 29."
  • Addition of conditions of approval requiring: (i) events to be scheduled only on Saturdays; (ii) events to end at 11 p.m. with music ending at 10 p.m.; (iii)  events to be managed by security officers, a planner/coordinator and signage; and (iv) notification to the Sheriff's department.

County Administrator Patrick Blacklock and Yolo County Housing Chief Executive Officer Lisa Baker recognized Jianmin Huang as a Difference Maker.
 
 

Yolo County Housing Executive Officer Lisa Baker presented the County of Yolo with the National Award of Excellence in Community Revitalization for its visionary work with Yolo Housing and the City of West Sacramento on the Bridge to Housing homeless encampment relocation and permanent housing project, and recognized Karen Larsen, Tracey Dickinson and Nolan Sullivan for their work on this project.
