Continue the second reading of the amendments to the County's Tobacco Retail Licensing Ordinance to October 11, 2016. These code amendments are meant to address youth tobacco use by decreasing the accessibility and appeal of tobacco products to minors including flavored tobacco products. (No general fund impact) (Larsen)

Continue the second reading of the amendments to the County's Tobacco Retail Licensing Ordinance to October 11, 2016.

Reason for Recommended Action/Background

Amendments to the County's Tobacco Retail Licensing Ordinance were originally heard by the Board of Supervisors on September 13, 2016. Staff is requesting that the second reading and adoption of the ordinance be continued and heard at the meeting on October 11, 2016 so that additional work may be completed.
