Reason for Recommended Action/Background |
Each year the county is required to submit a claim to the Sacramento Area Council of Governments (SACOG) to receive funding made available by the State of California Transportation Development Act (TDA). The attached claim reflects the amount of a 1/4-cent sales tax to be made available to Yolo County in 2016-17 for transit as well as streets and roads purposes. Although there is no calendar deadline to submit the application, Community Services wishes to proceed quickly in order to receive the revenue.
|
Collaborations (including Board advisory groups and external partner agencies) |
Each city adopts its own TDA claim for its own source of TDA funds. Transit services addressed in the attached claim are administered by the Yolo County Transportation District.
