| Reason for Recommended Action/Background |
| The County reached tentative agreement with the General Unit and the resulting Memorandum of Understanding is included as Attachment A. The agreement includes modest cost of living adjustments for 2018-19, 2019-20 and 2020-21, and implements a total compensation study to bring classes to within 95% of comparable agency salaries. The agreement also adds an increased deferred compensation match for employees with 20+ years of service, increased tuition reimbursement, adds one additional floating holiday, clarification on the use of bereavement leave, and a limit of twelve months from vacation for submission of request. |
