Hold a public hearing to receive a presentation on the 2017 General Plan Annual Report. (No general fund impact) (Echiburu/Parfrey)

Recommended Action

Hold a public hearing to hear a presentation and receive public comments on the 2017 General Plan Annual Report; and
Direct staff to file the report with the State of California, Department of Housing and Community Development, as required by State law.

Reason for Recommended Action/Background

The General Plan Annual Report is a yearly summary of development trends and progress on the implementation of General Plan action items, with an emphasis on housing. Following this presentation to the Board of Supervisors, staff will then submit the report to the State Department of Housing and Community Development.

Collaborations (including Board advisory groups and external partner agencies)

The Planning Commission heard a presentation of the Annual Report at its last meeting on April 12, 2018.
