| Reason for Recommended Action/Background |
| The Board of Supervisors recently approved Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) with the Yolo County Attorneys Association and the Yolo County Supervising Attorneys Association. Both MOUs included an adjustment to the amount of the County contribution to retiree health insurance, increasing from $370 to $400 per month. The County currently contracts with CalPERS for health insurance for current and retired employees. Adoption of the attached resolutions is required by CalPERS to effectuate the negotiated changes. |

| Approving this action will have no fiscal impact. The MOUs approved by the Board included the cost of this action and all affected departments have incorporated this increase in their current year budget and their requested budget for Fiscal Year 17/18. |
