Reason for Recommended Action/Background
The Community Corrections Partnership (CCP) recommends the extension of the Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) contract for Day Reporting Center Services. The CCP approved the contract extension on May 8th, 2017 . This amendment will extend the term for services provided by SCOE for Day Reporting Center Services for three months starting July 1, 2017 through September 30, 2017.  This extension will allow the CCP time to complete the financial analysis necessary to assess whether additional funding changes to treatment services are recommended.

In addition, the cost for services under this agreement will increase by $155,000 for the additional term of this agreement. The maximum amount of the overall agreement will increase from $2,922,133 to $3,077,133.

The SCOE contract originated from a public request for proposals (RFP). SCOE was recommended by the RFP scoring committee based on SCOE's work providing day reporting center services for parolees re-entering in Sacramento. At the time they had five years of experience operating the Sacramento site when they responded to the Yolo County RFP. This amendment will create a total contract term of five years and nine months with SCOE.
