| Reason for Recommended Action/Background |
| The County is a member of the Yolo County Public Agency Risk Management Insurance Authority (YCPARMIA), a self-insured risk pool providing a full complement of insurance coverage. The County has one voting seat on the Board of Directors. Other board members are representatives from the cities in Yolo County and the Esparto School District. For the past 10 years, Mindi Nunes, Assistant County Administrator, has been the Board's representative to YCPARMIA. With the appointment of Gina Rowland to the role of Human Resources Director, it is appropriate to transfer that responsibility to her. The majority of the work on the Board is related to worker's compensation. Each of the cities primary member is the HR Director, the Esparto School District appoints their finance Assistant Superintendent. |
