Since January 2015, the Office of the County Counsel has worked cooperatively with the County Administrator's office and General Services (Information Technology and Telecommunications) to ascertain the need for, and ultimately acquire, additional software licenses from Attachmate, Inc.  The Office has entered into an agreement to acquire additional software licenses and the requested appropriation from the Contingency Fund is necessary to complete the transaction.  A 4/5 vote is required for the appropriation.
