The Cooperative Agricultural Support Services Joint Powers Agency agreement (Agreement No. 06-193) was approved on July 11, 2006. Rick Landon, Agricultural Commissioner, was appointed as Director under Article II, Section 2, "Designation of Directors" of the Joint Powers Agreement. As Rick Landon has retired, the recommended action requests that John Young, current Agricultural Commissioner, be appointed to serve as the County's representative on the Authority Board of Directors, and that Dennis Chambers, Chief Deputy Agricultural Commissioner, be named as alternate Director, to serve in the Director's absence. |
