| Reason for Recommended Action/Background |
| Please see attached Amendment to the Authorized Position Resolution. Two years ago, the department eliminated a vacancy in the classification of Secretary to the Director - Non Supervisory. Since that time, the duties of that position have shifted to an individual in the classification of Office Support Specialist. Upon request, Human Resources conducted a classification study which revealed the duties performed were creating a situation where the employee was working out of class . The position is now vacant and based upon the Memorandum of Understanding with the General Unit, the position will be staffed appropriately utilizing the classification of Secretary to the Director - Non Supervisory. |
