On February 26, 2019, the Board of Supervisors ratified the County Administrator's February 20, 2019 proclamation of a local state of emergency within Yolo County; and on March 6, 2019, the Board of Supervisors ratified the County Administrator's February 27, 2019 proclamation of a local state of emergency within Yolo County (Attachment A).
Presently, based on input from the County's Office of Emergency Services, staff recommends that the Board continue the states of local emergencies into March. Response and assessment actions are continuing, including addressing levee and other public infrastructure damage that was not immediately apparent due to high water conditions.
