			30.	Consider cannabis policy issues including, but not limited to, the ongoing state regulatory process and its effect on the timing of County policy discussions, a potential local cannabis tax measure, certain cannabis-related commercial activities such as research, manufacturing, distribution and sales; receive public input on all policy issues presented; and provide direction to staff. 					The following individuals addressed the Board of Supervisors on this item: Linus Rapien, Eric Gudz, Dr. David Ostrach, Timothy Schimmel, Newell Taylor and Robin Miller.     Minute Order No. 17-55: Directed staff to return to the Board in about six months with suggested changes, if any, to the cultivation ordinance; take necessary steps to advance the track and trace and testing programs for existing cultivators and to report to the board if the existing fees are sufficient to cover costs and whether we're able to collect them.  The Board can proceed with discussion on the other aspects of marijuana after the board considers changes to the cultivation ordinance.
