Reason for Recommended Action/Background |
On September 27, 2016, the Board of Supervisors approved an agreement with West Yost Associates for the design work of extending City of Davis water to the North Davis Meadows community. This action is to amend the scope of work to include only those services eligible for a State Revolving Fund planning loan (with the exception of contingency [+$21,000] which is not eligible) and to add the following necessary for completion of the design work:
- Three additional meetings related to project management (+$2,000);
- Engineering analysis and costs estimates for alternative alignments for supply pipeline from Davis and looping pipelines through residential golf course properties (+$7,000); and
- Additional land surveying services (+$20,000).
There is not an increase in the cost of this contract as the original scope included construction period services (-$50,000) which are not eligible for a State Revolving Fund planning loan. Those services will be rolled into a subsequent application for a construction loan. |
