Reason for Recommended Action/Background |
At the end of the 2019 calendar year the 2016-2019 Yolo County Strategic Plan will come to a close. For that reason the County is in the process of developing a new 2020 Strategic Plan. This plan will be used by the Board of Supervisors to set policies and prioritize resources for the organization for the next three to five years. The development process will include a robust community engagement effort as well as the use of Board workshops and staff work groups.
From February through October Board workshops and staff workgroups will be utilized for the purposes of developing the outcomes and strategies for the 2020 Strategic Plan. There will be three Board workshops conducted focusing on topics identified by the Supervisors and from the engagement outreach. These workshops will provide Board direction on the County approach to addressing these matters and will occur February 5th, April 16th, and July 16th.
This first Board Strategic Plan Workshop on February 5th will focus on the following topics with presentations from the Yolo County Health and Human Services Agency:
- Behavioral Health
