Reason for Recommended Action/Background
See Attachment A for changes to the Authorized Position and Salary Resolution.

PERS requires local agencies to have a resolution on file that identifies the individual(s) responsible for making industrial disability retirement determinations for local safety employees who are injured on the job and unable to return to work in any capacity in the County.  This authority was previously delegated to Mindi Nunes when she was the Deputy County Administrator.  The recommended action updates the "Delegation of Authority" to the individuals holding the title of Assistant County Administrator and County Administrator, i.e., Mindi Nunes and Pat Blacklock.
