| Reason for Recommended Action/Background |
| In February 2015, the County and the Yolo Family Service Agency (YFSA) entered into an agreement for YFSA to provide subsidized employment training for CalWORKs clients. Subsidized employment provides employers with financial support for hiring CalWORKs clients with the goal of transferring the client to unsubsidized employment. The Agreement was initially for $16,500 for FY 16/17 to subsidize wages for CalWORKs clients to work at YFSA. This Third Amendment increases the maximum compensation to $33,000 to accommodate additional placements. |
