Approve fourth amendment to Agreement No. SE 14-01 with Yolo Wayfarer Center dba Fourth and Hope, increasing the maximum compensation to $30,500 to accommodate additional placements for Subsidized Employment Training for CalWORKs clients for the term July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2017. Reason for Recommended Action/Background

In July, 2014, the County and the Yolo Wayfarer Center (YWC) entered into an agreement for YWC to provide subsidized employment training for CalWORKs clients. Subsidized employment provides employers with financial support for hiring CalWORKs clients with the goal of transferring the client to unsubsidized employment. The Agreement was initially for $16,500 for FY 16/17 to subsidize wages for CalWORKS clients to work at YWC. This Fourth Amendment increases the maximum compensation to $30,500 for FY 16/17 to accommodate additional placements.
