Approve letter of support for the TS Ranch's Natural Resources Conservation Service rangeland easement application.

Reason for Recommended Action/Background

TS Ranch has requested a letter of support from the Board of Supervisors for its Natural Resources Conservation Service rangeland easement application with the California Range Trust. If the application is approved, a conservation easement would be placed on the 3,332 acre ranch outside of Guinda on the eastern slope of the Capay Valley. The Agricultural Commissioner is supportive of the application. The attached map (Att. B) shows the general vicinity of the ranch (red outline) and Guinda (blue outline).
