The Yolo County Board of Supervisors established the Yolo County Emergency Medical Care Committee (EMCC) by Ordinance No. 1111 (11/20/90) in accordance with California Health and Safety Code Division 2.5, Chapter 4, Article 3. The EMCC acts as the advisory body to the Yolo County Board of Supervisors for the Yolo County Emergency Medical Service Agency (YEMSA), and the County Health Services Director on all matters relating to the emergency medical services in Yolo County. The establishment of the bylaws will create structure and consistency for the committee.
Yolo County EMCC bylaws were created in partnership by the YEMSA and the current EMCC members. It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors adopt the attached resolution establishing the Yolo County EMCC by-laws. |
