The County took positions on 12 bills in 2015 legislative session. Attached is a report detailing the outcome of those bills (Att. A).
The 2016 Intergovernmental Advocacy Policy serves as a comprehensive platform for Yolo County’s advocacy efforts, encompassing the County’s values and goals. The recommended actions provide direction to staff regarding Yolo County’s 2016 state, federal, and regional advocacy efforts. In consultation with the Board’s Legislative Subcommittee, staff minimally revised the 2016 Intergovernmental Advocacy Policy from the prior year to reflect policy and project updates, namely aligning the Intergovernmental Advocacy Policy with the County's 2016-2019 Strategic Plan (Att. B). |
Collaborations (including Board advisory groups and external partner agencies) |
Throughout the 2015 legislative session the County Administrator's Office closely collaborated with the Legislative Subcommittee, CSAC, and the Delta Counties Coalition. |
