Reason for Recommended Action/Background |
The Partnership HealthPlan of California (PHC) is one of five County Organized Health Systems operating in California to manage the care of the participating county's Medi-Cal recipients. PHC is a health insuring organization that is a legal subdivision of the State of California, but not part of any city, county or state government system. PHC is governed by a commission comprised of representatives from each of the member counties. Yolo County currently has four seats on the Commission. The seat held by Yolo County must be a Yolo County Board of Supervisors member or designee. The Board of Supervisors appoints all commissioners. Commission members serve a four-year term and are not prohibited from serving more than one term. |
