- Adopt budget resolution adjusting the Yolo County Airport 2018-2019 fiscal year operating budget to reflect an increase of $289,421;
- Approve contract with Teichert & Sons, Inc., for improvement work and repaving to taxiways at the Yolo County Airport for $263,110 through May 15, 2019; and
- Authorize the Assistant County Administrator to amend the construction contract with Teichert up to an additional $26,311 (10% of its original amount) and to extend the contract through June 30, 2019 should amendments be required by the scope of the project.

| Reason for Recommended Action/Background |
In October of 2018, a request for proposal was submitted for improvements to and repaving of taxiways at the Yolo County Airport. This request for proposal included requests for bid amounts on three proposed options:
Option 1: Improvements to taxiways A and C.
Option 2: Improvements to taxiways A, B and C.
Option 3: Improvements to taxiways A, B, C and D.
Upon the receipt of bids and an assessment of available funding, Option 1 was selected. Teichert & Sons, Inc., has been awarded the contract with a bid of $263,110 for improvements on taxiways A and C. Funding for these improvements is in the process of being secured through a series of loans from CalTrans and the United States Department of Agriculture.
The contract issued to Teichert & Sons, Inc., is for the dollar amount identified in response to the request for proposal ($263,110) however, the General Services Department is requesting authorization for the Assistant County Administrator to issue amendments to their contract should the scope of work need to be altered. Amendments in excess of an addition $26,311 (10% construction contingency) will be brought to the Board of Supervisors for approval. |
