			4.	Ratify the following:   Resolution No. 16-101 Commemorating the 241st Birthday of the United States Marine Corps. Resolution No. 16-102 Proclaiming November 11, 2016 "Veterans Day" in Yolo County. Resolution No. 16-103 Proclaiming April 6, 2017 through November 11, 2018 a Period to Recognize and Honor Yolo County's Services in World War I.

					Ratified Resolution Nos. 16-101, 16-102 and 16-103 on Consent.

			5.	Accept resignations, consider appointments and reappointments.

			8.	Authorize the Chair of the Board to sign a letter to the Central Valley Flood Protection Board and the California Department of Water Resources supporting the addition of the Conaway Ranch Levee Setback and Transitory Storage proposal for further study in the 2017 update to the Central Valley Flood Protection Plan. 					Bob Thomas from Conaway Ranch addressed the Board of Supervisors on this item.     Minute Order No. 16-160:  Approved recommended action contingent upon approval by the City of Woodland and for the letter to reflect the position of the County that aligns with the City of Woodland's action. 			11.	Conduct workshop to provide an understanding of California's Child Welfare Services system and the performance of Yolo County's Child Welfare Services Division. (General fund impact $4,800) (Stuart Oppenheim, Danna Fabella, Child & Family Policy Institute of California)

					A panel consisting of Stuart Oppenheim, Child & Family Policy Institute of California (CFPIC)  Executive Director, Danna Fabella, CFPIC Senior Program Director, Melissa Connelly, California Social Work Education Center (CalSWEC), U.C. Berkeley, Jesse Russell, National Council on Crime and Delinquency and Kimberly Giardina, Child Welfare Training Innovations, conducted the workshop to provide an understanding of California's Child Welfare Services system and the performance of Yolo County's Child Welfare Services Division.
