On October 15th the County Emergency Operations Center (EOC) was activated as part of the Great California Shakeout exercise. This exercise was designed to familiarize County EOC staff with the operations and coordination necessary to manage a large scale incident. EOC staff had the opportunity to practice using tools developed for them and gain hands-on experience with their specific jobs. A review of this exercise is being presented to the County Board of Supervisors to enhance knowledge of Emergency Management planning and preparation throughout Yolo County. |
