Waive second reading and adopt ordinance amending Section 2-2.3402 of Title 2, Chapter 2, Article 34 of Yolo County Code regarding the Partnership Healthplan of California Commission to modify the Membership of the Medical Care Commission. (No general fund impact) (Planell)

Reason for Recommended Action/Background

On April 16, 2015, the Partnership Healthplan of California Governance Committee approved changes to the Partnership Board configuration. The number of Board Members from each member County are now determined based on the Medi-Cal cases in each county. This change will reduce the number of Yolo County Partnership Board Members from 4 to 3. This ordinance amending Section 2-2.3402 of Title 2, Chapter 2, Article 34 of Yolo County Code reflects this change in Partnership Board configuration. The first reading of this item occurred on October 27, 2015.
