Reason for Recommended Action/Background |
Yolo County Probation Department has been receiving funds from the US Department of Health and Human Services' Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) since 2008. These funds reimburse the County for the cost of housing up to 30 unaccompanied youth who are referred to the County by ORR and are pending reunification with families within or outside the United States.
The Probation Department will present a historical review of the activities performed under this grant. The Department is currently pursuing an additional three-year grant for 2017-2019 that maintains the existing level of service. |
