| Introduce by title only, waive first reading, and continue to next regularly-scheduled Board meeting for adoption of an ordinance entitled "An Ordinance of the Board of Supervisors of the County of Yolo Amending Article 37 of Chapter 2 of Title 2 of the Yolo County Code Regarding Nomination of Alternates." |

| Reason for Recommended Action/Background |
| The proposed ordinance authorizes the local agency (the cities and the County) members of the Board of Commissioners for Yolo County Housing to nominate alternate members for appointment by the Board of Supervisors. The ability to appoint an alternate will provide flexibility for local agency members that serve on the Board of Commissions and help ensure that it is consistently able to achieve a quorum for meetings. Alternatives are common on other local boards, commissions, and committees throughout the County. |
