Recommended Action |
- Approve and authorize the County Administrator or designee to sign a five-year airport agreement with Cecil McLemore; and
- Authorize County Administrator or designee to administer the lease and act in the capacity of Landlord, as defined in the Agreement.

Reason for Recommended Action/Background |
McLemore flight school has conducted business at the Yolo County Airport for 6 years, constructing small office buildings onsite through a ground lease from the County. The flight school wishes to continue operations and serve the needs of the public.
Changes to this agreement from previous agreements include an annual increase of approximately 2.5% from the previous contract. Going forward, the rent shall be adjusted annually by 2.5% for the term of this Agreement.
All airport contractual agreements require Board approval. The agreement is consistent with the Airport Master Plan, Airport Layout Plan, and existing Aviation Zoning. The lease will generate $2,000 to the airport budget annually during it's term. |
