Reason for Recommended Action/Background |
By accepting this donation in the amount of $2,800, the Yolo County Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) will be able to purchase and distribute approximately 55 car seats for income eligible families and provide hands-on education to these families to ensure each car seat is properly and safely installed. In addition, this donation will fund two (2) car seat check-up events, available for all Yolo County residents to have their car seats checked for recalls, expiration, and correct installation of their car seats.

No general funds are required by this action. This agreement approves the acceptance of $2,800 in donated revenue to be used for the purchase of car seats and car seat safety inspection events, for the period of July 9, 2019 through December 13, 2019. The amount of $2,800 will be included in the HHSA adopted budget for FY2019-20. |
