Reason for Recommended Action/Background |
The Yolo County Board of Supervisors approved a $5,292,326 budget amendment at the November 17, 2020 meeting due to an increased California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids Program ("CalWORKs") allocation from the California Department of Social Services ("CDSS"). Of that, $143,626 will be used to purchase new security video cameras to be installed at 25 N. Cottonwood Street in Woodland and 500 Jefferson Blvd. Building A in West Sacramento. This equipment will improve security in order to provide safer and more efficient public employment assistance services to target populations in the County. The Fiscal Year 2020-21 Equipment List will be amended as follows:
