Reason for Recommended Action/Background |
On May 30, 2018, the County of Yolo (“the County”) renewed its agreement with Northwoods Consulting Partners, Inc. (“Contractor”) for provision of lobby management and customer appointment scheduling services; and the document imaging and content management system. Both of these services are critical to the core operations of the Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) Service Center Branch for providing vital services to HHSA’s welfare service programs.
The contractor has been providing services to the County since FY 2010-11 and HHSA has made significant financial investments in this system. Additional funding has been requested in the amount of $38,520 for FY 2018-19 to:
- Migrate Compass Servers, SQL Servers and test/development servers from Windows 2008 to Windows 2016; and
- Add up to 10 additional capture stations for document imaging and content management system.
Staff hereby recommends approving this amendment as these IT upgrades will enhance and improve the customer experience with the Service Center by supporting lobby management, customer appointment scheduling services, and document imaging and content management system services. |
Collaborations (including Board advisory groups and external partner agencies) |
County Counsel has approved this Agreement as to form. |
Competitive Bid Process |
The Contractor was selected by the County through a Request for Proposals issued on November 8, 2010 for Content Management professional services. For Lobby Management services, the County piggybacked on Contra Costa County Award Letter #1130 to the Contractor, issued after its selection through Contra Costa County EHSD RFP 1130. |
