Renew states of local emergencies ratified by the Board of Supervisors on February 26, 2019 and March 5, 2019.

Reason for Recommended Action/Background
On February 26, 2019, the Board of Supervisors ratified the County Administrator's February 20, 2019 proclamation of a local state of emergency within Yolo County; and on March 5, 2019, the Board of Supervisors ratified the County Administrator's February 27, 2019 proclamation of a local state of emergency within Yolo County. These actions and related background matters are described in further detail in Attachment A, which is included for reference purposes only.

Presently, based on input from the County's Office of Emergency Services, staff recommends that the Board continue the states of local emergencies. Response and assessment actions are continuing, including addressing levee and other public infrastructure damage that was not immediately apparent due to high water conditions.

$50,000 for emergency repairs the night of the event
$35,000 to fix the Cache Creek levee crown. 

$120,000 to fix the Cache Creek levee slopes.
