Reason for Recommended Action/Background |
In 2014 the General Services Department: Information Technology Division purchased the systems and equipment for Yolo County's first private virtual environment. This action is aligned with the Specific Project of Server Virtualization identified in the IT Strategic Plan.
The proposed system will expand the capability of Yolo County's current virtual environment. Also, this will be part of the process of periodic equipment upgrades and replacements that is needed for all technology systems. |
