	7.			Receive Animal Shelter update.

Sheila Allen, Evelyn Dale and Eileen Samitz addressed the Board on this item.

Received Animal Shelter update. Stephanie Amato noted: 1) Interviews for Registered Vet Techs has been concluded; 2) new walkway to the shelter has been completed and work continues on the security & fencing projects; 3) Leslie Lindbo, Community Services Director, introduced herself noting they are in the transition stages of onboarding Stephanie and her team to their Department; and 4) Gerardo Pinedo and Alex Tengolics provided an update on the Community spay/neuter clinic.


	8.			Receive update on the transition of Animal Services from the Sheriff's Office/CAO to the Department of Community Services and next steps.

Lea Rosenberg and Eileen Samitz addressed the Board on this item.

Received update on the transition of Animal Services from the Sheriff's Office/CAO to the Department of Community Services and next steps. Leslie Lindbo went over the future space concept for the current animal shelter.


	9.			Consider updated meeting calendar for 2024.

Minute Order No. 24-08: Approved updated meeting calendar for 2024 as noted below with a new start time of 11:00 a.m. and to continue with the Zoom function to allow members of the public to join remotely.
