Reason for Recommended Action/Background |
In accordance with the Mitigation Fee Act contained in California Government Code 66000 et sec., the County is required to make available for review an annual report of the County's Development Impact Fees (DIF). The currently adopted fees have been included with the adopted Master Fee Schedule.
Staff have performed the DIF fund analysis for the 2018-19 fiscal year and the report is attached. The report describes the various fees that the county currently collects, the beginning and ending balance of each fee fund and the public improvement projects funded during the fiscal year. The funded projects in 2018-19 were the debt payments on the DA building, the Courthouse remodel, Tuli Mem Park and the start of updating the development impact fee study.
Additionally, Fire Districts with approved development impact fee programs are required to submit their annual reports by October 31. Knights Landing, Yolo and Dunnigan Fire Protection Districts reports are attached (Attachments B-D). Clarksburg, Capay Valley and Winters Fire Protection Districts did not submit the required reporting. |
