| Reason for Recommended Action/Background |
| As of 2019, both Solano County Elections and Yolo County Elections utilize the Hart Intercivic Verity Voting Systems. The Registrar of Voters in each county worked collaboratively to put in place an emergency contingency should either county experience a partial or complete failure of their own system on Election Day or during the canvas of the election before results have been certified. The Agreement provides confidence to the county and its voters that all votes and results will be processed accurately and securely should such emergency services be requested. |
