| Reason for Recommended Action/Background |
| The Cooperative Agricultural Support Services Joint Powers Agency agreement (Agreement No. 06-193) was approved on July 11, 2006. Under Article II, Section 2, "Designation of Directors," each member County, by resolution of its Board of Supervisors, shall designate and appoint one representative to act as its Director and appoint one representative as an alternate to act in each Director's absence on the CASS Authority Board of Directors. The recommended action would allow any person who holds the title of Agricultural Commissioner to act as the Director and any person who holds the title of Chief Deputy Agricultural Commissioner to act as the alternate on the CASS Authority Board of Directors. |
