Reason for Recommended Action/Background
The UC Davis Extension has developed a human and social services training program that meets training requirements mandated by the California Department of Social Services in the areas of fraud, income eligibility verification, overpayments and child welfare core knowledge.  UC Davis Extension is the only training provider in our area that meets this need.  This amendment adds 16 days/units of training, increasing the total days/units of training for FY 2019-20 to 34 days/units. These trainings are critical for social services staff and ensure the Agency meets its mandated training requirements. Due to training requirements additional units are required to train new staff as needed.
