Reason for Recommended Action/Background |
The County Administrator proclaimed a state of local emergency on July 6, 2018, arising from the County Fire. The Board of Supervisors adopted a resolution subsequently ratifying the existence of a local emergency on July 10, 2018. The County Fire was declared fully contained by CalFire on July 17, 2018, having burned over 90,000 acres, damaged an estimated 23 structures, and caused other hazards and damage throughout the affected area. Accordingly, under California law, it is now appropriate to terminate the state of local emergency and the attached resolution so provides. |
