Reason for Recommended Action/Background |
At the June 6, 2017 Board of Supervisors meeting, the Board approved a five-year lease for space at 600 A Street, Davis for the California State Assembly for 4th Assembly District Office. At the time, General Services was authorized to utilize contingency funds in order to complete a series of tenant improvements in order to update the suite for use as an district office. These improvements included updates to flooring, existing electrical and lighting, sound-proofing, painting and improvements to heating and cooling systems. The expenditures for these one-time improvements were recouped through the lease agreement.
This amendment (Att. A) extends the current lease agreement through July 31, 2024 at a monthly rental rate of $4,360.49 per month with the same terms and conditions of the original lease approved on June 6, 2017. |
