Reason for Recommended Action/Background
Lincoln Training Services is the current County provider of janitorial services as a result of a competitive solicitation in 2012.  The current contract expires on June 30, 2019.

The County's competitive solicitation process is in its final phase with the finalized contract expected to be presented to the Board of Supervisors in July 2019 for approval.  The new contract will require the proposed contractor to change their level of service to facilitate compliance with new waste disposal requirements, including the separation of organic waste from garbage.

Approving this amendment will allow Lincoln Training Services to continue providing services until the new contract is executed.
