Current Year Fiscal Impact: $1,200 increase
Annual Fiscal Impact: $18,000 increase

Explanation: In the current fiscal year the cost of this recommendation will be absorbed within the department’s existing budget. In future years, this action will increase the department’s baseline expenditures.
Department: Health & Human Services Agency
Position(s): Sr. Public Health Nurse, Children’s Services Eligibility Specialist II, Social Worker Practitioner
Current Year Fiscal Impact: $10,616
Annual Fiscal Impact: $61,339
Source of Funds: State/Federal/Realignment
Explanation: While the differential between the new and existing classifications reflects an overall cost decrease, the Children’s Services Eligibility Specialist II was unfunded in the 2019-20 budget. As a result, this action will result in an estimated annual cost increase of approximately $61,000. The cost of these positions will be fully funded by state and federal funds. |
