Reason for Recommended Action/Background |
The City of Davis is currently undergoing design updates to their existing Senior Center at 600 A Street, Davis. In the course of this design work, increases in outdoor amenities were explored, however, the existing outdoor space has been found inadequate to offer the increased services to the Davis senior population.
Approval of this grant deed will allow the Davis Senior Center to place a fence along the a small piece of county owned property that is located along the northeast corner of the north lot of 600 A Street, (reflected in further detail in Attachments B and C) in order to move forward with the proposed expansion. There is no impact to either County parking or operations by placement of this fence nor is the small area of any practical use to the County. There is no cost associated with this grant deed.
County Counsel will finalize the language of the easement deed in coordination with General Services and the City, and consistent with the intended use of the property as described above. |
