Reason for Recommended Action/Background |
Redevelopment successor agencies are charged with winding up of affairs of the assets and liabilities of the redevelopment agencies, which were dissolved by State Legislation in 2015. The County-Wide Successor Agency Oversight Board of Yolo County (Oversight Board) was recently created pursuant to State Law to oversee those redevelopment successor agencies that are in Yolo County. At its first meeting on August 21, 2018, the Oversight Board adopted a conflict of interest code under the Political Reform Act (Attachment A). Pursuant to Gov. Code §82011, the Board of Supervisors is the local "code reviewing body" for all local agency conflict of interest codes. Accordingly, the Board must approve all such codes of local agencies with jurisdiction wholly within the County, like the Oversight Board. |
