| Reason for Recommended Action/Background |
| The Yolo County Board of Supervisors, as the the supervising authority, shall make appointments when the conditions pursuant to CA Elections Code 10515: "...the number of persons who have filed a declaration of candidacy for director at large does not exceed the number of offices of director at large to be filled at that election..." have been met. This recommended action completes the procedure for appointment in-lieu of election for the North Delta Water Agency November 14, 2017 Land-owner District Election. The letter from the Agency requesting these appointments can be viewed in Attachment A. |
